The Arkipelago series is made to be used also outdoors. The clever wedge joint solution of the base gives Arkipelago table its own character, and also enables the tables to be shipped in a flat pack.
Arkipelago table for outdoors is always made of oak, and the top consists of planks. The indoor version can be made of oak or ash, and the table top can be also solid.
